Lisa Team SickKids left Pearson International Airport in Toronto last night en route to Los Angeles. They arrived safe and sound in LA, a little tired but very excited. Around 12:30 a.m. Toronto time, Team SickKids members from Ontario united with their fellow athletes from Nova Scotia, British Columbia and Manitoba. Now they are on their way to Australia to paint the Golden Coast a Canadian red.

The husband of SickKids Foundation's Lisa Charendoff was at Pearson International Airport to take in all the excitement and wish Lisa farewell. He captured photographs of some of the families as they waited to board their flight to LA. We’ve posted these pictures to our Flickr account. Feel free to check them out here!
