The main lights in the Slaight Family Atrium at The Hospital for Sick Children just turned on. It’s perfect timing to kick-off the SickKids Radiothon, part of Astral Media’s National Day of Caring for Kids.

The volunteers from Foresters, the presenting sponsor of the Radiothon, just arrived to man the phone banks and we are ready to go! Newstalk 1010, boom 97.3 and 999 Virgin Radio are onsite at the Hospital and set to share some inspirational stories throughout the day.

SickKids Foundation president Ted Garrard just completed the very first interview for boom 97.3. He also managed to fill out a wish for our Wishing Wall, sponsored by 407 ETR.
