Once again, smiles are back on the menu as Pizza Pizza kicks off its national Slices for Smiles campaign this week.

From April 25 – May 1, whenever you visit a participating Pizza Pizza location and purchase a 10-inch, half-size “smile” pizza for only $2, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network. These funds go on to support leading-edge patient care, groundbreaking research and critical medical learning at local children’s hospitals, including us here at SickKids!

Since its inception in 2007, Slices for Smiles has raised more than half a million dollars for children’s causes. Last year’s campaign raised $114,000 for SickKids alone, and with your support we can do an even better job this year!

You can also help us raise awareness of the campaign by striking a pose with your “smile” pizza and sharing your photos with us. Just let us know why you’re smiling for SickKids and email your photos to andrej.petkovic@sickkidsfoundation.com. If you want to share your photos on Twitter or Flickr instead, just be sure to use the “smilepizza” tag so we know where to find them. Let’s see how many photos we can get!
