Newstalk 1010, boom 97.3 and 99.9 Virgin Radio will broadcast live from the Atrium at The Hospital for Sick Children from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the 25th annual SickKids Radiothon, part of Astral’s National Day of Caring for Kids.
Patients and families will share their compelling SickKids stories and help motivate Toronto-area listeners to phone in and pledge their donations to become Monthly Miracle Club members.
Returning with their continued support, Foresters, a provider of quality life insurance, has signed on as the presenting sponsor. Not only does Foresters support the Radiothon financially, but each year Foresters employees volunteer their time to answer donor calls and take donations.
On May 5, be sure to listen in to participating Astral radio stations and encourage your friends to do the same. Most importantly, please help us spread the word.
