The annual Toronto Star special section on SickKids hits newsstands first thing in the morning. The 20-page supplement highlights our leadership in research, learning and care. It includes stories from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, advancements in retinoblastoma care, photo spreads with our patients, interviews with researchers studying everything from mental health to obesity to cancer and a full page on the Research & Learning Tower. You won’t want to miss it!

Tomorrow is also the 25th annual SickKids Radiothon, part of Astral’s National Day of Caring for Kids, presented by Foresters. Newstalk 1010, boom 97.3 and 99.9 Virgin Radio will broadcast live from the Atrium at The Hospital for Sick Children from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The day is sure to bring some surprises (or prizes?) so stay tuned!
