  • We are not studying a single childhood disease - we're studying all of them. More than that, we share our knowledge with children's hospitals across Canada and around the world.
  • SickKids treats more than 100,000 children each year,14,000 as in-patients - of those children 50 per cent of them were from outside the Greater Toronto Area.
  • Broad-based fundraising activities include Direct Response, an extensive Employee Giving program, Events and Corporate Giving teams.

Our Corporate Advisory Board

At SickKids we believe in being active and contributive partners in any relationship we develop. This means that you'll hear from us often and throughout the year. Our team has a wealth of knowledge in corporate fundraising, media, public relations, advertising and promotions.

We have developed an advisory board specifically for our corporate partnerships. The team is made up of marketing/advertising and relationship experts from a variety of sectors, including the media and ad agencies. They provide a unique perspective on our activities and help strategize around the possibilities for new relationships.

With any corporate network, the sum is always greater than the parts.

We recognize that working with corporations is more than just receiving a cheque.

Whether you are looking to brainstorm new ideas, need help engaging constituents (local or national), want to try something innovative, or want to revive an old idea - our team is up for the challenge.

SickKids National Impact

With any corporate network, the sum is always greater than the parts. This is just as true in finding cures and better treatment for illnesses that threaten the health and well-being of our children.

Individual communities across the country together can support the intellectual and economic resources to find the cures for such illness as asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis or cancer.

Here are three ways SickKids is trying to help:

  • SickKids has the largest hospital-based research institute in Canada - and has recruited some of the world's top researchers to study childhood diseases.
  • Since 1973 SickKids has granted $60 million to researchers who work at universities and children's hospitals across Canada.
  • SickKids launched the first national program to train doctors to be researchers at universities affiliated with children's hospitals across Canada.
