Brittney, receives live-changing heart surgery at SickKids

Brittney, 6, travelled from Trinidad and Tobago to receive life-changing heart surgery at The Hospital for Sick Children.

What is Citytv Herbie Day?

On Friday, June 6 2008, Citytv will host the third annual Herbie Day to raise awareness of and support for children from around the world in need of specialized care at The Hospital for Sick Children. Gord Martineau and Citytv will broadcast from the front lawn of the hospital (555 University Ave., Toronto).

Stop by to listen to live entertainment, feast on an international breakfast, enjoy a barbeque lunch or donate.

The Herbie Fund is a volunteer organization dedicated to bringing sick children from around the world to SickKids for life-changing medical treatment not available in their home country.

How can you support Herbie?

This year, you can support the Herbie Fund by creating your customized web page to fundraise online for Herbie Day.

Set a goal amount, e-mail your friends, family and coworkers and invite them to visit your page to donate to the Herbie Fund.

Add your photos and Youtube or Google videos to your page and watch your totals rise on a digital thermometer!

Challenge your friends to make their own pages and beat your amount raised.

You can also donate on Gord Martineau's page and help him reach his goal on Citytv Herbie Day!
