Kelly wasn't even a day old when she underwent her first surgery here at SickKids to remove a knot in her small intestine. She is now two years old and you will have a chance to see her courageous story during the Annual SickKids Telethon on Fairchild airing Saturday, April 26 at 8:30 p.m. on Fairchild TV (channel 36 in the GTA).

The telethon will air nationwide featuring more than 10 new inspirational stories from our Cantonese and Mandarin speaking families and health-care providers.

Since 1998, Fairchild Television, in partnership with SickKids Foundation, has been successfully engaging the community in supporting the hospital. More than $1 million has been raised by Fairchild over the last 10 years.

Funds raised during this year's telethon will help support a range of needs at the hospital including research initiatives.
