Home Hardware has been supporting SickKids since 2002 through the establishment of the Home Hardware Children’s Endowment Fund. To date, they have raised over $2.7 million which has enabled cutting-edge research, innovative education, and exemplary care at SickKids. Yusuf’s Day of Hope
Yusuf's Day of Hope, founded in 2007, shares the message of hope to all of those that surround it. Their aim is to increase public awareness about the complexity of multiple illnesses and the devastating effects they have on children and their families, while raising valuable financial resources for research and care for children with complex disorders. At the heart of this initiative is Yusuf, who suffers from a rare genetic disorder. Yusuf’s life is anything but normal. He spends a significant amount of time in the hospital battling one complication after another. Yet, Yusuf has a smile that lights up any room.
Yusuf’s parents, Kameeza and Imran, created this community event as a way to give back to the hospital and bring awareness to the tremendous work of the Complex Care team at SickKids.
Thank you Kameeza, Imran and the YDOH committee for everything that you have done and continue to do for SickKids. We are extremely grateful for all of your support over the years!
