Donor Spotlight | Week of December 11

Duracell
For over 10 years, Duracell has supported hospitals like SickKids through our partnership with Children’s Miracle Network and the Duracell “Powering Smiles and Imagination” program. Annually, the Duracell team invites Canadians to participate in supporting our highest priority needs by donating a portion of their proceeds on Duracell batteries sold in December, and they also provide Child Life teams with a year’s worth of batteries. Duracell believes in powering good, and they continue to demonstrate this belief through our long standing partnership. Thank you Duracell, it’s employees and partners, for your tremendous support!

Hasbro Canada
Since 2013, Hasbro Canada and SickKids Foundation have enjoyed a partnership grounded in making a significant impact in patients’ lives through the importance of play and bringing joy to families at difficult times. Hasbro Canada proudly donated $250,000 toward an incredible renovation of the Neurosurgery Playroom, with remaining funds being distributed to the highest priority needs of the hospital. The Hasbro Canada staff have volunteered their time to bring joy to hundreds of children during special events such as the Halloween Parade, creating Treasure Box and Craft kits, wrapping Hasbro toys and games to be handed out to in-patients on Christmas morning and donating to the Parent Holiday Room. SickKids Foundation and Hasbro Canada are looking forward to a continued partnership that positions SickKids to be on the front lines of children’s health.
