Great Cycle Challenge
This week, SickKids Foundation is thrilled to honour the Great Cycle Challenge and its incredible contributions in expanding our reach through fundraising for the Garron Family Cancer Centre to fight kids' cancer. In last year’s challenge, people of all ages, abilities and from every province and territory in Canada participated throughout the month of June. Our community of over 11,000 riders pedaled a total of 1,691,285 kilometres raising over $2.1 million in support of research to develop treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
This year’s challenge is already underway with over $250,000 raised and 6,900 riders registered. Check out www.greatcyclechallenge.ca and help kick cancer’s butt!
SVP SPORTS
SVP SPORTS and its employees have been generously supporting SickKids through their inaugural Tournament of Hope Charity Golf Tournament. In 2017 alone, this first time event raised over $130,000 in unrestricted funding for SickKids. Serving Toronto and the GTA for over 30 years, SVP SPORTS has become one of Greater Toronto Area’s number one sneaker and athletic apparel destination, and a valued partner in the fight against the biggest challenges in child health.
