Donor Spotlight | Week of May 21

Lindt & Sprüngli (Canada) Inc.

SickKids Foundation would like to acknowledge Lindt & Sprüngli (Canada) Inc. for its generosity in supporting The Hospital for Sick Children through the annual Lindt Chocolate Masters golf tournament and their Mother’s Day campaign.

The annual golf tournament has contributed more than $1.8 million for the renovation of the Lindt & Sprüngli Orthopaedic Operating Suite, and the hospital’s highest priority needs over the past 10 years. More recently, Lindt & Sprüngli (Canada) Inc. has signed on as a Catalyst Donor as part of SickKids Foundation's No Limits Campaign. Through a new pledge of $1.5 million the Lindt Chocolate Masters has purchased a PET/CT Scanner for the hospital.

Lindt is also proud to run a Mother’s Day campaign to support child health in their stores across Canada. When you visited a Lindt shop from April 30-May 13, you could make a donation to your local children's hospital (minimum $2) and receive a 3-pack of milk chocolate Lindor as a treat for Mom.

Thank you, Lindt, for your support of SickKids Foundation and children's hospitals across Canada!

Walmart
Over our 20+ year national partnership, Walmart Canada has grown to be one of our top Children’s Miracle Network corporate partners.

To date, Walmart has raised over $100 million for children and families across Canada who are facing some of the greatest challenges in child health.

This remarkable fundraising is achieved through generous donations from Walmart Canada, its associates, loyal customers and suppliers, much of it during the annual spring campaign (May 17 – June 8, 2018).

In 2017 alone, Walmart raised nearly $2 million for SickKids Foundation, supporting the hospital’s highest priority needs and making a special $150,000 grant to our Food Insecurity program. Walmart, thank you for helping our families and patients live better!
