Tuesday, August 14 marks the official launch of Fairchild Radio’s Believe in SickKids Week. This special week-long celebration features two events that will raise money for SickKids Foundation.

The first is the SickKids Radiothon on Fairchild Radio (AM1430 & FM88.9) broadcasting live from the Atrium at SickKids on Thursday, August 16, from 7:00am – 12:00pm.

Approximately 12 patient stories will be told through live interviews and pre-recorded segments.

The culminating event in Believe in SickKids Week is the Fairchild Radio Car Wash on Sunday, August 19, 2007 from 12:00pm – 6:00pm. Fairchild Radio will be broadcasting live from their studios as the car wash takes place in the parking lot located at 135 East Beaver Creek Road in Richmond Hill.  The suggested minimum donation is $20 per car.
