Mattamy Tour de Blue: 4,000 km later

On Sunday, June 24, more than 50 eager cyclists led by Mattamy Homes’ CEO Peter Gilgan will cross the finish line at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) to complete the Tour de Blue, a 4,000 km bike trek from Vancouver to Toronto.

Gilgan and seven avid cyclists began their journey in Vancouver and were joined by 45 additional cyclists in Port Carling, Ontario. The second annual Tour de Blue is scheduled to arrive at SickKids on Sunday, June 24 at approximately 4 p.m. with a goal of raising $500,000 that will go towards critical research in pain management at SickKids.

All SickKids staff, patients and families are invited to the Atrium to have some refreshments and cheer on the cyclists on as they cross the finish line.
