A meaningful way to give
Your one-stop shop for all of the great holiday campaigns benefitting SickKids this year
November 16, 2011
Imagine calling SickKids home for the holidays? More than 250 children and their families will this year. SickKids works hard to make this time of year special for children.
Twinkle lights, caroling and decorated trees bring a festive spirit to the hospital hallways and a holiday activity is never far off. A Christmas Eve celebration followed by a special visit from Santa and his elves always put a smile on the faces of patients and their siblings.
All Hospital activities, including those throughout the holiday season, are made possible thanks to the generous support from our community and corporate partners.
SickKids has some great holiday campaigns and has partnered with local retailers to help make your holiday shopping meaningful.

In November, Williams-Sonoma, Inc. brands launched its second annual holiday fundraising campaign to help raise money for SickKids Foundation, Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. The campaign runs from November 11 through December 11. Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm stores across Canada are providing an opportunity for customers to add a monetary donation to their purchase.
New this year, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm are featuring select holiday items where a portion of the proceeds benefit children’s health across Canada. These select items are available until December 31.
LCBO
During the month of December, donation boxes for SickKids Foundation will be displayed at LCBO checkout counters at 620 locations. As part of LCBO’s annual Spirit of Giving campaign, cashiers will also invite customers to add a $2, $5 or $10 donation to their purchase.
Long & McQuade
Long & McQuade believes in the healing power of music. With a donation to SickKids of $1 or more, customers will receive a $5 coupon towards any music instrument rental from now until December 31. Specialty gift card boxes in support of SickKids are also available.
