Heroes are brave, courageous, and fight for what they believe in. This fall, look for our television, radio, magazine, and exclusive webisode spots that will give you a glimpse into the SickKids Family of Heroes! At SickKids, we are constantly inspired by the heroism of the children and families who walk through our doors. We are equally inspired by the heroism of the staff, donors and volunteers at SickKids who work tirelessly to make sure that SickKids will always be the extraordinary place that children need it to be. |

What is Safe Kids Canada?
Safe Kids Canada is a national leader committed to reducing unintentional injury, the leading cause of death for children and youth in Canada. |
 |
There are many simple steps that parents and caregivers can take to keep kids safe – using the right car or booster seat, fitting your child’s bike helmet, keeping hard foods, like candy, raw carrots and popcorn from kids under age four or tying up or cutting blind and curtain cords are just some of the ways kids can be safer where they live and play. Follow the link below for Halloween safety tips.
Tips to make your trick or treating safe
 |
Safe Kids Canada has a bilingual Web site and a toll-free information line,
1-888-SAFE-TIPS (723-3847) to help parents and caregivers keep kids safe. |
