Child's condition: Severe kidney failure
Joti
It's a chilling thought facing the unknown and Joti and her family know this fear well. With swollen feet, pale lips, loss of appetite and severe nausea, not a single doctor could diagnose her symptoms. At SickKids, Joti and her family finally found answers. Joti had severe kidney failure and began dialysis immediately. In July, SickKids changed her life - she received two much-needed kidneys with a transplant.
