Meet Kokou

Kokou
Kokou travelled more than 5,000 miles to Toronto to help him make friends back home in Avati, Togo. In his remote village, the children mocked him for having a large growth on his face. Through the Herbie Fund, Kokou was able to come to SickKids for a surgery not available in his home country. The generosity of our community members gave Kokou an operation that changed his life forever.
