Through his will, John Paris Bickell helped create the SickKids Research Institute.

Your Future Gift Helps Fight for Kids’ Health

Donors of future gifts are recognized through the J.P. Bickell Society. It’s how we say thank you for your decision to help the children of tomorrow.

J.P. Bickell Society members gain recognition in the hospital’s Donor Hall of Honour, and receive event invitations as well as our Planning for Kids newsletter. You could also remain anonymous while still receiving invitations and our newsletter. The Society includes donors of gifts in will, life insurance, and RRSP/RRIFs.

The Society is named after John Paris Bickell, who believed in the future of SickKids. His gift helped establish the SickKids Research Institute in 1954, which is now the largest hospital-based research facility in Canada and one of the largest in the world. The Research Institute remains at the forefront of child health research today with researchers busy making discoveries that help children here and around the world.
