PetSmart Charities™ of Canada
PetSmart Charities™ of Canada is a proud supporter of SickKids. Since 2014, they’ve donated more than $370,000 to support initiatives like our hospital’s Paws for Hope Pet Therapy program and the pup-stops that make our Great Camp Adventure Walk a pet-friendly fundraising event. A six-figure donation from PetSmart Charities of Canada enabled the Paws for Hope Pet Therapy Program to expand to include nineteen certified therapy dogs that made over 1,300 patient visits in last year alone. Pet therapy dogs support a child’s emotional well-being during stressful time spent at the Hospital. And as the Pup Stop sponsor of The Great Camp Adventure Walk, PetSmart Charities of Canada ensures furry family members are pampered with treats, water, toys and more as they participate in this 20 km signature fundraising event that raises more than $7.5 million for SickKids. Sport Chek
As the presenting sponsor of The Great Camp Adventure Walk (Camp) Sport Chek plays an integral role in the success of the event and its fundraising efforts. Sport Chek has been promoting the Power of Sport at Camp since 2014 and has brought some of Canada’s top athletes and Olympians to participate including: Cory Joseph, Rosie McLennan and Damian Warner. Sport Chek continues to be a proud supporter of SickKids and a champion for ensuring that all children have access to organized sport and physical activities.
