Women's Auxiliary Volunteers (WAV)
We are honoured to celebrate the Women’s Auxiliary Volunteers (WAV)—dedicated volunteers and passionate philanthropists who provide an extra dimension of care at SickKids. Since 1993, WAV has raised more than $18 million for hospital priorities and funded five endowed Chairs, helping advance world‑class care, research, and learning at SickKids. Their vision has brought impactful programs to life, including the Bravery Bead Program, PlayPark and the beloved 5Fifty5 Shop, creating moments of comfort and joy for patients, siblings, and families. We are deeply grateful to every WAV member whose passion, pride, and generosity help ensure a brighter future for children at SickKids and around the world.
