A Walk In the Six Event date: August 18, 2019



Go on "A Walk in the 6 for SickKids" to raise money for the Kaitlyn O'Brien Fund. Kait was a patient at Sickkids for 18 years, diagnosed with VACTERL syndrome, and at a young age she underwent over 50 surgeries to make her daily life livable. This is a fun filled event that incorporates promotional draws, snacks, and a five kilometer walk!

All-Star Gala Event date: June 21, 2019



This year the Gala takes place at the Rebel on Friday, June 21st and will again bring together an assortment of professional athletes and personalities from hockey and other sports, including emcee Jay Onrait from TSN. All net proceeds go to Dr. Seeds research project on congenital heart disease at the Hospital for Sick Children and the event promises to be one of the most high profile Toronto galas of 2019

Block Party in support of SickKids is an annual family fun day premised on kids helping kids. 100% of the proceeds raised are dedicated to the SickKids ‘Re-Imagine our Campus’ campaign.

Block Party promises to be a day like no other with fun and games for the whole family, sports, music, food and live performances! This event aims to bring together our families in celebration and to teach our children the importance of giving back. Breakfast of Champions Event date: November 8, 2019



Breakfast of Champions is an annual fundraising and networking event in support of SickKids Foundation featuring approximately 35 community and business leaders (we call “champions”) and is attended by over 350 young professionals. Each champion is seated at a table with up to ten young professionals where they have the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive breakfast discussion. Designed to facilitate intimate and engaging conversations among attendees, participants will connect, network and raise funds for a cause that’s close to the heart: the NICU at SickKids.

Children on the Rise logo

Children on the Rise Event date: November 8, 2020



Domenic and Claudia Ieraci hosted their first Children On the Rise Gala in 2017 raising $50,000 for Project Horizon and SickKids Foundation. Claudia’s sister, Vanessa, is a patient of SickKids, she is now 18 years old and has just had her third leg-lengthening surgery. Domenic and Claudia want to get involved with SickKids and feel fortunate in their work positions and want to give back. They are in a pledge to raise $500,000 over the next 7 years in support of Project Horizon. This past November they hosted their second annual Gala raising another $50,000. The Gala is primarily made up of family, friends and corporate sponsors, it begins with a cocktail reception and silent auction and then has a dinner, live auction and dancing.

Healing in Harmony logo

The Child Life Department at SickKids supports the health and wellbeing of patients and their families through therapeutic programs including music therapy, clown therapy and art therapy. These programs are designed to reduce stress and help patients cope with hospitalization. Healing in Harmony supports the Child Life Department at SickKids and is on a mission to create a positive environment for patients and their families through creative arts. This second annual fundraiser features a live musical performance by Guilty5, as we raise awareness for children’s health and wellbeing.

LivingStrongMD Dream Bigger Gala Event date: October 11, 2019



Last October, Britney hosted the Little Steps Big Dreams Gala. The night had over 240 attendees, live entertainment, a DJ, food stations, open bar, a cotton candy machine, a doughnut wall, guest speakers from The Hospital for Sick Children and The Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto, a patient speaker, countless amazing raffle prizes, and more! After all expenses paid, the gala raised over $55,000 – where ALL of those proceeds were divided equally amongst The Hospital for Sick Children and The Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto.

In support of The Hospital for Sick Children and The Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto. Britney is a former Volunteer of The Hospital for Sick Children and The Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto. She is a family member to a former patient of The Hospital for Sick Children – who is her inspiration and strength for all that she does.
