Donor Spotlight | Week of April 22

Costco Wholesale Canada

SickKids is proud to have counted Costco Wholesale Canada as a partner, through Children’s Miracle Network, for more than 20 years.

Each spring (in 2019: April 30-June 3), Costco Wholesale invites its dedicated members to participate in its balloon icon campaign to raise funds for kids who are facing serious illness and injuries. Costco has, and continues to have, a tremendous impact on child health at SickKids: Costco Wholesale Canada and its community of member supporters have donated over $11 million!

Congratulations and thank you to the entire Costco team for your tremendous partnership to provide hope and healing to the patients and families served by SickKids.

The Dilawri Foundation

The community has always be one of the core values of the Dilawri Group of Companies and the Dilawri Foundation and they have lived that value through their transformational support of SickKids. Their $5 million gift to our world-leading Research Centre and a $2 million gift that created the Dilawri Patient Amenities Fund has touched the lives of our patients today and will continue to have impact for our patients of the future.

The Dilawri Group of Companies, the largest automotive group in Canada, has dealerships across the country and employs more than 3,500 people. They formed The Dilawri Foundation to make a positive difference in the areas of health care, medical research and family services - their gifts to SickKids are a perfect example.

We are exceedingly proud to be associated with a group that has made supporting communities across Canada such a priority. Our heartfelt thanks to the Dilawri Family, The Dilawri Group of Companies and The Dilawri Foundation!
