Women's Auxiliary Volunteers (WAV)

The Women’s Auxiliary Volunteers (WAV) at SickKids are an integral part of what makes the Hospital for Sick Children the special place it is for children and their families.

Each year, members devote thousands of hours to ensure that inspirational programs like the 555 Shop (https://thesickkids5fifty5shop.ca/), PlayPark and the Bravery Beads program, can continue to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

In addition to the volunteer service they deliver across the hospital, helping both staff and families, WAV provides philanthropic contributions to a variety of programs at the hospital. WAV has contributed more than $18 million to SickKids Foundation over the decades to fund five Chairs; support research; the creative arts therapy program; the Bravery Bead program; and the renovation of an Operating Suite, to name just a few areas where they have made an impactful investment at the hospital.

We thank and honour the WAV members who devote thousands of hours at the hospital each year making meaningful impact through volunteerism and philanthropy and providing an extra dimension of care to the children and families SickKids serves.

Allen's Juice

Allen’s Juice is a proud partner since 2017, through their annual cause marketing campaign in support of SickKids Foundation.

This commitment continues to celebrate patients and their families, while also recognizing hospital and research staff who tackle the greatest challenges in child health.

Allen’s Juice has raised more than $85,000 their campaign, SickKids is delighted to honour Allen’s Juice as our Donor of the Week.
