TD Bank Group
TD Bank Group has committed to invest $15M over the next 10 years through Canada’s Children’s Hospital Foundations (CCHF), to improve adolescent (10-18) health in Canada.
These funds are allocated to the 13 children’s hospitals that are part of CCHF, and will enable each hospital to invest in programs designed to address the most pressing issuing facing adolescents in our country.
This commitment is an exciting development in our longstanding relationship with TD, and is part of the TD Ready Commitment, TD's global corporate citizenship platform (https://www.td.com/ca/en/about-td/ready-commitment/) and their goal of creating more equitable health outcomes and improving access to care for all.
As part of this commitment TD will be donating $500,000 specifically to SickKids as the first of such investments that will be made annually within the 10-year partnership. These funds will allow SickKids to develop a Teen Resource Hub within AboutKidshealth.com. This online resource will be created specifically for teens who are seeking out trusted health information, and is intended to empower youth, their caregivers and care providers to better manage adolescent health needs and risks.
Thank you TD Bank Group and all TD Employees who are stepping up for SickKids this May as part of the TD Momentum Challenge!
