Celebration of Life Fundraiser
This week, we are proud to celebrate the 5th Annual Celebration of Life Fundraiser, hosted by the wonderful Volpentesta Family. Taking place on June 6 at the Venetian Banquet Hall, this special event was inspired by their son Antonio’s courageous journey through his leukemia treatment, as he triumphed over cancer in 2016.
Since launching the fundraiser in 2018, the Volpentesta Family has raised nearly $50,000 in support of SickKids, transforming their personal experience into a powerful community movement. Their continued dedication makes a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families at SickKids.
While the phrase “Celebration of Life” often brings to mind remembrance, this event is about so much more. It’s a celebration of the strength of survivors, a moment to honor those we’ve lost, and a commitment to the hope we share for a brighter, healthier future that we continue to build together. We look forward to celebrating this event and are deeply grateful to the Volpentesta Family for their unwavering support and dedication!
