Meagan's Hug
SickKids Foundation is honoured to recognize Meagan’s HUG and the Meagan Bebenek Foundation as our donor of the week.
This past weekend, in honour of Mother’s Day, Meagan’s HUG formed a human hug around SickKids as a message of hope for all our patient families inside receiving treatment. This year marked the 24th Annual Walk and HUG event in support of paediatric brain tumour research at SickKids.
To celebrate Mother’s Day and all mothers, we would like to recognize and thank Denise Bebenek and her incredible group of volunteers that support this fundraising event and have been doing so for over 20 years. To-date, Meagan’s HUG has raised over $6 million since it’s inception in 2002.
