CIBC

We are proud to recognize CIBC and Team CIBC for their longstanding leadership and commitment to SickKids, and for the meaningful role they continue to play in advancing care for children with cancer.

CIBC has been a long time supporter of the SickKids Cancer Sequencing (KiCS) Program, helping to grow it from a bold idea into a world‑leading program. Their sustained commitment reflects a belief in long‑term progress by investing in research that drives discovery today and helps shape better care for the future.

Through KiCS, SickKids is studying how advanced genetic sequencing can be used in clinical cancer care, with the goal of better characterizing tumors and informing more personalized approaches to treatment.

Since 2016, more than 800 children and youth have been enrolled in the program, with findings that have directly informed care for many patients and helped clinicians refine diagnoses and treatment pathways. This work has also contributed to new standards of care that are influencing paediatric cancer treatment beyond SickKids.

Thanks to partners like CIBC, SickKids can continue pushing this work forward by bringing greater precision, clarity, and hope to kids facing the most complex cancers.

Thank you, CIBC, for your leadership and continued commitment to helping SickKids move the needle for children with cancer.
