Meagan Bebenek Foundation - Meagan's HUG
SickKids Foundation is honoured to recognize Meagan’s HUG and the Meagan Bebenek Foundation as our donor of the week.
On May 9th, in honour of Mother’s Day, Meagan’s HUG formed a human hug around SickKids as a powerful message of hope for the patient families inside receiving treatment. This year marked the 25th Anniversary Walk and HUG, a truly special milestone celebrating 25 years of unwavering commitment to paediatric brain tumour research at SickKids.
As we celebrate Mother’s Day and all mothers, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Denise Bebenek and the incredible community of volunteers who have supported this event for over two decades. Their dedication has made a lasting impact—raising over $6.5 million since 2002.
