How can I tell if an email or text from SickKids Foundation asking me to update my information is legitimate?

SickKids Foundation may contact monthly donors by email or text message if a monthly donation was missed or a credit card is expiring.

We will always direct you to a secure webpage on our official website, sickkidsfoundation.com . In some cases, our text messages may include a one-time personal code that you can enter on our website to securely confirm your identity. We will never ask you to reply to an email or text with your credit card number, banking details, or any personal financial information. If you’re ever unsure about a message, please contact our Monthly Donor Specialists directly at 416-813-1216.
