How is it decided if and where I will volunteer?
A decision will be based on your interests, availability, ability to perform the tasks required, available opportunities, and successful completion of our volunteer engagement intake/screening process. Some volunteer roles require more screening, and others less. It depends on what you’re interested in doing. Completing a volunteer application form does not guarantee you a volunteer role.
When will I receive my tax receipt for my monthly gifts?
Monthly Donor tax receipts will be sent via email or mail (depending on the donor’s preferences) by the end of February. Please note there are two tax receipts for 2025; one for January-February and one for March-December. This is due to the Government of Canada’s extension of the deadline for charitable donations in 2024.
