Meet Our Awesome Crew
Team Captain Angie!
No stranger to Camp, all-star Crew Captain Angie Ciardullo, raised the roof with Fundraising this year bringing in $2,150 with the help of 3 of her colleagues (and Camp Messy Hands Crew: Alexandra Mihan, Juliane Fox and Jessica Yhip)! Angie has been captaining Camp since the beginning and has always lead by example in fundraising and leadership for her team. This year, Angie got her company, PointClickCare involved by hosting their first Annual Throw Down – Mexican Dip Edition! Generously, an Executive of PointClickCare, supported Camp by matching money raised during the Throw Down! Thank you to everyone who supported Angie’s goal!
SickKids Kid & Crew
Raising an incredible $2,290, former SickKids kid Tiffany Engel, took the lead on the fundraising board for our Crew! Recent grad from University of Guelph, Tiffany was released from The Hospital of Sick Children before her 19th birthday and is now working as a Project Analyst at Rogers Communication Inc! Tiffany joined Camp as a way of giving back to the people who have helped her get to where she is today and to better the health of future kids who will receive support from SickKids. Tiffany, we can’t wait to see what you have in store for next year!“Together, this year we raised more than $2.1 million to support SickKids!”
All-star Jr. Crew Joseph
Starting grade 11 this year, Jr. Crew Joseph Zuckerman raised a whopping $1, 075 for SickKids! Last year was Joseph’s first time at Camp supporting our Spirit of Sports Campsite at The Hospital for Sick Children, where he got to play air-hockey one-on-one with one of SickKids kids. Joseph created such a strong bond with his new friend that opened his eyes to what other kids his age can be going through. Joseph had such a great experience both years and can’t wait to get involved next year!
Jr. Crew and SickKids Kids : Sophie McNamee
SickKids Kid, Sophie, joined Camp as a walker two years ago, and both last year and this year returned as Jr. Crew with her friends from Camp Oki – a camp run by SickKids for kids with heart conditions. Sophie supports Camp as it’s great way to raise money that provides an amazing experience for everyone! As Sophie thinks about how SickKids has helped her through her life in so many different way and other kids, she wants to do her part in any way she can! Sophie, thank you for giving back to SickKids and raising $1,796!
