Ethiopian Airlines
Ethiopian Airlines has a proud history of supporting organizations that focus on improving the lives of Canadians. Supporting community organizations has made Ethiopian Airlines Canada an active participant in their efforts and their successes.
Over the past year, Ethiopian Airlines Canada donated 24 round-trip tickets to SickKids which were divided between Global Child Health’s (C-GCH) Capacity Building programs and the SickKids International Patient Office, which Includes The Herbie Fund. The Herbie Fund helps children around the world receive life-saving surgery and treatment at SickKids. Using the donated tickets, C-GCH team members flew to Ethiopia, Mali and Ghana to assess, plan and deliver important newborn and child health programs in 2019.
The generous donation of flights allows for SickKids to distribute efforts on several initiatives such as practice-focused paediatric nursing education. By providing these flights Ethiopian Airlines Canada contributes towards a positive change for many families and healthcare professionals at SickKids.
