Arya's Legacy
This week we would like to acknowledge our Community Partner, Arya’s Legacy as our Donor of the Week.
Arya’s Legacy is a charitable initiative with a mission to raise funds in the fight against childhood cancer, in honour of Arya Bachar. To date, Arya’s Legacy has raised over $50,000 in support of Neuroblastoma Research at SickKids.
Neuroblastoma is the most common cancer of Infants and usually occurs in children under 5 years of age. The Neuroblastoma Research Program at SickKids is the largest of its kind in Canada.

In honour of their 50th anniversary, Pickle Barrel has generously chosen to fundraise for SickKids through the sale of their Throwback t-shirts. We are humbled by the opportunity to be part of this momentous occasion and celebrate Pickle Barrel’s long history of feeding families and bringing people together.
Peter Higley, President of Pickle Barrel, coined their vision so beautifully - “Pickle Barrel has been loved and supported by our communities for the last 50 years so there’s no better way to give back than to support the health and well-being of the next generation.”
