ROCK ON! Charity Golf Tournament 

This year marks the 5th annual ROCK ON! Charity Golf Tournament in support of the Labatt Family Heart Centre and special cardiac-related projects at SickKids.

Each year, Jeff, and Helen Foster along with the support of their family, friends, associates, and the Bay Street Children’s Foundation, raise funds and awareness for heart failure.

Emmet, their son, the inspiration behind it all, was born with a rare arrhythmia and later diagnosed with dilated cardiomyopathy. Emmet was suddenly battling heart failure. Emmet was a happy toddler; he was strong and hid his symptoms well. He had a love and passion for music. Soon after Emmet’s passing, Jeff and Helen began their fundraising journey building a legacy at SickKids for Emmet. They started an endowment in Emmet’s name to raise funds for the Labatt Family Heart Centre and their annual golf tournament, ROCK ON!, a nod to Emmet’s love of music and guitars.

We are incredibly grateful to Jeff, Helen, their family, and friends for all that they are doing to continue to raise funds and awareness for SickKids.
